I agree. I just hope that they won't push it even further.A bump of 3-4 months forward then. Week 47 seemed extremly positive if ordered in july 2022, at least at that time. Hope it will come earlier anyway![]()
I think this depends on which market you are in and options on ordered GTX. For Sweden they are definitely producing GTXs, mine was just handed over to shipping after final QC check. So im still hoping for delivery before the new year. They are not producing any GTXs this year.
Oh ok, then that makes sense, I can certainly see that they are not locking in any new build weeks for GTXs, i had build week of 44 and it seems that the 4 week "build" time that i have seen floating around before handed over to shipping seems to be correct.I wasn't speculating. I have the letter from VW that they sent last week of September that says they have to halt production and only cars already confirmed for production will be produced this year.
A car is confirmed for production about a month earlier. The projected timeline shows as much in the VW system. In "normal" times, you could actually trust that once confirmed, the timeline will hold.Ok so if they halted the production for GTX this year except for those confirmed then, one wonder how many cars this is affecting meaning cars that were supposed to be confirmed this year but was push back due to this decision.
To note, the actual build time is only four days, if everything goes smoothly and all parts are available. I've seen that in the system (screenshot) and I do believe that our US friends have confirmed it as well.Oh ok, then that makes sense, I can certainly see that they are not locking in any new build weeks for GTXs, i had build week of 44 and it seems that the 4 week "build" time that i have seen floating around before handed over to shipping seems to be correct.
Yepp and as long they move we will continue to speculate and wonder what is going on 😅I will ask my dealer next week or so of status, I guess I have waited a long time to ask again like a child with a advent calender hoping that it will be the right day to check and a nice suprise will come 🤩Today my deal told me wthe week changed from 202313 to 202311. He also said that the weeks as constantly moving forward and backwards. And it will continue to move until it's in production. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.
Yes, it does, which I why I am making the educated guess that it's just whatever they produced in a week or two (it seems to update either once a week or once every two weeks, usually Sun/Mon night) and then project that to whatever is "in cue".Today my deal told me wthe week changed from 202313 to 202311. He also said that the weeks as constantly moving forward and backwards.
This. Once it's confirmed to production - a month before it's actually produced - then in a regular world it would hold. Now, it still holds and it's done in four days if they have the parts. If something is missing - like Tjabo seemed to have - then it will take longer. And it will continue to move until it's in production. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.
Hi Lars, where do get this info, do you have a link for this tracking?Checking on three of the MY 2023 built GTXs that has showed up on car.info built for Sweden, seems like they are now being produced in Emden... maybe that could also explain the delays/low volume in produced GTX numbers ? 🤷♂️
I just checked VIN on wayke.se on cars available for sale. for exampe.Hi Lars, where do get this info, do you have a link for this tracking?
Well i was just curious as i thought the GTX was made in Mosel togehter with the other Id4s. And when i saw that the ones for Sweden and 2023 seemed to have moved to Emden my guess was that it might have introduced further delays or limited production capability. Or maybe its all unrelated and its all internal politics on which market the produced GTXs are going to...🤷♂️Ok and with this information you try to extrapolate when then they were produced, but its not possible to se when ordered ?![]()
ID.4:s have been manufactured in Emden since last summer.Well i was just curious as i thought the GTX was made in Mosel togehter with the other Id4s.
Yes i saw that one, but i didnt know about GTX, like if they moved all 4wd versions to one EU factory....ID.4:s have been manufactured in Emden since last summer.
