Expect to get confirmed this week, or, if it's by the update cycle as the estimation, next Sunday/Monday night, early in the morning.

Week 06 remains here, no changes this week (as said, seems to update over the weekend or early morning Monday), which is something considering that on a normali timeline they confirm the production about a month before... Which would be next week. So I expect to see it either confirmed or postponed before Monday afternoon.
Will indeed be interesting to see of a call comes from the dealer coming weeks or if I need to ask status first to get info of postponement. Like someone said at one point they need to take the decision to build the damn car. See a lot of ads for ID Buzz, would be better to postpone the launch until they can produce properly according to plan otherwise the clusterfuck of production will just grow 🤣

Buzz deliveries start in February in volume.
Our gtx has been postponed to wk 14 now. Was wk 4 at the beginning of December. My dealer showed me other orders and many were wk 18 and later. While alot didn't even have a preliminary week at all.
I wonder why it's postponed this time. Preliminary week was 35/2022 from the beginning. Ordered on 31 of may 2022.

I do believe one of the two should have changed this week, as the forecast has always been that production is confirmed about a month before production.
Yet here I am, four weeks to production to the day, and still not confirmed.
Volkswagen themselves have never promised to deliver an ID.4 GTX under eight months. Current promise is ten.
(Well they did promise and deliver faster... Before COVID)

Yeah that was never happening. There was 0 % chance of getting a May-order GTX in August.

Yeah I know but they said that we should get it in October- November and surely before 2023 so we could get the full climate bonus here in Sweden also we had a guaranteed trade in value for our tiguan valid until the end of 2022.
Things can happen that can delay stuff but VW doesn't give any reason it seems. Noone can't say for sure why the orders are delayed.
Only thing I get from VW are emails saying how good the Id4 is, that I should order one and that they release new models... not really the news I want.
Sorry if I sound whiny, I'm just frustrated and maybe needed to vent!

Complete understandable. But I specifically asked about the delivery time of an ID.4 GTX in January 2022. I was told it would be 12 months (I went for the ID.5 GTX for that reason - it was supposed to be a five month delay only, as it was a new model and the shop had one in cue already).
This was before Putler attacked Ukraine, and two days after the attack, Volkswagen again informed everyone waiting that there would be delays.
In light of that, I don't understand why you were promised a car in ~9 months. If people ordering in January were supposed to wait until, well, the next January, why would ordering in May mean an August to December delivery?

I don't really know why we should get it earlier than anyone who ordered earlier than us but the reason we got for a delivery in 2022 was that they opened up another factory to produce them and that they should get prioritized over normal ID4/ID5 basically.
Doesn't seem like that happened though.
I really hope that our car would be produced in week 14 so this frustration can end!

I think the new factory is/was Zwickau, but I also believe that ID.5:s have ever only been produced in Zwickau.
Also I forgot to mention, they halted all GTX production - except for ones already confirmed for production - in September due to not having components for the drivetrain. This as per letter from my local VW. The production was to re-start this year Q1. I've yet to see any GTXs actually entering production, and I haven't gotten any statement.
EDIT: checked with my dealer, and mine was supposed to be confirmed before Christmas, and the latest update on the system was 29.12. So it seems that I will get postponed again, because it should've been confirmed if it would actually get built.

I wouldn't dare to wish.
I got a screenshot from my dealer. Same preliminary W06. But the funny thing is that according to that view, it should have been confirmed 24.12. Latest update to the system was 29.12.
My dealer flatout said that it's likely delayed (again), as W06 production should have been confirmed and missing that, it's not going to be produced W06.
