Wondering if anyone that has ordered a GTX has gotten any estimated delivery dates?
My order has had the status "ordered" ever since I put down the order back in May.

Congrats!

Makes one realize how far off mine is. Hopefully santa will bring something shiny red for me.

Question; what charger did you get? Will they install it aswell? Since we both are in Sweden and I will be looking at chargers soon. How abouy delivery time for those?
Yesterday i ordered the charger "in charge" from vattenfall with load balancing function, installation and extra cabel included. Will be installed in approx 2-3 weeks, have some special needs so it can be installed in our carport
Just have to join in with a data-point, as I am also waiting for delivery of my GTX:
First info on build week when I ordered before the summer was w 29.
Week 34 I was informed about a delay but that it was locked for production...
Now in the MinVolkswagen App it says status "Production Planning".
Silver GTX with most packages and towbar, Sweden. Waiting, waiting...

I've installed a Wallbox Pulsar Plus, completed cost including load balancer and electrician landed on 9400:- after green deductible.

Did it ever say anything else in the app besides ”production planning”? I am wondering how reliable the info is in the app and if there is another source of info

Thats a fair price I would say. It seems like the charge amps halo is a popular charger with good reviews so I am looking at that at the moment

Nope - that is the ony status I have seen. Next steps are "starting build", "transport to Sweden" and "soon at your dealer".
Another user @ID4 GTX wrote about a status "almost ready build" but that is no visible in my app...
So - reliable? Nah...

Will have a go at the german VW-site, maybe there is more info to find there.

Just got an update today: our GTX is currently being built.

With the Finns and Swedes starting to get theirs, it would seem they are pumping out Nordic GTXs.

I have the same steps you have.

Aww, now I'm getting kinda jealous, mine is still on "production planning" (step 2/5). Hopefully soon!

I am confident you will get yours built soon - they would not prioritise Danes over Swedes, surely 😊

Now a put the swedish status text from app in google translate for more accurat translation, it says: "Now your car is soon finished", maybe this is step 4/6? (before it was "production planning" in 4 month and jumped over the step 3 "currently build"...)
This is what my sales guy also told me. That the tracking does not go smoothly with the backlog. The updates do not come as they happen in real life and they might jump several steps at once.
Please let me know if and how you get the Danish version to work.
Finally got a reply from my dealer. Basically said that this just doesn't work in Denmark. That it's not possible to track the car through the app.

On a more positive note, our production date got move forward from week 12 (2022) to week 51 (2021). We ordered mid-August.

Need to check with my dealer aswell. I have the same orderdate - mid august. He spoke about 4 months but never specified anything really.
The semi conductur shortage worries me alot and could be the reason that it will take 8 months instead of 4.

Thanks for the update - and great news with regards to your production timeline!

Seems VW is finding its way through the semiconductor darkness for the ID.-lines.
Have you received the car now?
Unfortunately not, no - it is being built as we speak, and the information from the Danish importer is arrogant to say the least: First, I was informed we would get the upgraded sound system, but now we are told we will not - additionally, we have been told that there will be a model change in week 48 and that we will get neither the Park Assist, the new Light Staging system, nor Software 3.0 but only 2.3 (and more is omitted).

We were told by the importer, through our dealer, that we could "just cancel or current order and make a new one with a 1.5% surcharge".

So, as it stands, we are getting the car a month late and just in time for it to be outdated already.

No compensation for delays, just an outdated car - this what you get for being an early reservation holder.

Wow. We ordered mid May in Denmark too, but I only get schedule updates (postponements) from the dealer. Production start is now set to be week 39. Wonder if I also get an outdated model.
That is annoying indeed. My order date was May 10 and I get very limited info as well. Unfortunately I also got the news on the sound system only being for the 2022/2 model that can be ordered from week 48.I assume the 3.0 version of the software can be delivered OTA. The current info to me on production date is beginning of October - which is strange since it later than both of yours.

According to the dealer, we both do - but am going to talkto the in person this Wednesday, and I will not leave until the dealer has gotten a few straight answers from the importer.

This is in Danish, but am I the only one, who reads this as if we get the upgraded sound system included?

The written word does not correlate with the spoken from the importer, as far as I can tell.

What bothers me the most is the fact that we get an outdated model just as the new changes are going into effect - the upgraded sound system comes with a price increase, so fair enough, I guess - but I am not OK with missing out on features that are included soon after delivery of ours.
