I put down my order on the 9th of may, and it has still stuck on the stage I prior reported.

Wow - I just got a VIN-number on my GTX in the "myVolkswagen" web login from Sweden. The App "Min Volkswagen" still says that it is in status production planning though. But at least something is happening... I have been checking both the web and the app on a daily basis and this is the first status change in a month.

That is a good sign - my local dealer is starting to slowly clear his ID.4 backlog, so they are definitely starting to spit out more ID.4s

Great to hear. Can you share the first 11 digits of the VIN number? I have the chassis number on mine (the last six that are unique to the car as I understand it) and perhaps I can then start searching for status changes

My understanding is that the VIN-code is the same as the chassis number?
But anyway, it starts with WVGZZZE2ZNP.

Thanks. The description is below. So for a GTX being build in 2021 the first 11 digits will be identical and the last six be the serial number.

16K for equipment and installation, for the FOCAL INSIDE PREMIUM 6.2 kit, with a small change, where the amplifier was changed to a Musway M6v2.


Very weird, I'll need to double check that with my dealer. Tho I'm still fairly sure that's not a thing, as I said, I drove a GTX with all the extra equipment, and that certainly didn't have a dedicated sub, and it was most certainly the same sound system as in the other versions of ID.4.

Who is the retailer in sweden and does the installation for this? Am looking to get this also

There are multiple retailers for Focal, I've chosen bilstereohörnan, they have a very good reputation, and so far all communication has been great.

Got an update from my local sales rep: My car is now ready from factory and waiting in the port to be shipped to Sweden. So - when is the next boat?
This means that the status update in the App was fairly accurate.
