So I got an production week set now. Week 43. How long is the estimated time from production start until delivery? How long did you have to wait. In my mind I am think 8-10 weeks?
I think mine was four-five weeks delayed - my dealer said it usually takes between two-three weeks from production to delivery

My only concern is that they will begin production and then come to a stop due to semi conductor shortage…. Again…
Not completely unlikely: My dealer informed me that Volkswagen has close to 160.000 cars standing around in their lots waiting for final parts - but he also said that they prioritise the ID.-family above anything else.

Spoke with my dealer today about this, he said it was around a month from when the car was completed till you could pick it up.

My GTX has been updated with the license plate number in the VW App. When I look upp that plate with Transportstyrelsen here in Sweden I can see a production date of 20 SEP and a pre registration date of 22 SEP, so I guess that was when the car left the factory. My dealer tells me it is in transport in one of the first batches to Sweden, but who knows...

So what is your take on the sound? Still not as good as you would have liked?
We are all positively surprised! Maybe they have done a small upgrade to the standard speakers, who knows - the sound is very good to our ears: crisp sound, enough base and plenty of oompf.

You just need to tweak the standard sétting a little.

I can confirm that the sound are pretty good if you put maximum bass in settings, of course a extra woofer would be Nice if it was installed in factory but mine havent got that
