Good morning! Purchased a 2023 ID.4 AWD Pro Plus for my wife. She's moving up from a Cooper S. A bit bigger but she's enjoying driving past the fuel stations. Our first experience in owning an EV. I've been involved in the EVSE industry for about 20 years and pleasantly surprised with the experience so far. I'll be installing a Level 2 charger in my garage in the next two weeks or so.
I've always handled our own vehicle maintenance. Found there is no OBD port. 😯
Looking forward to learning more about the car.

Yes there is, the OBD port is under the dash on the left side. It is very useful, and VW lets us do more with that port than most brands.

I know my two OBD are not set up for VW. Guess I'll have to get a third.

Hey, Congrats on the new ID.4, that's a huge upgrade.

Great spot on the OBD port! It's definitely still there, but VW hid it really well. If you look underneath the dash, directly below the headlight switch, you'll find a small, removable plastic panel. The OBD-II port is right behind it. You just pop that cover off to access it.
