Hello, is there a way to leave the radio on after exiting the drivers seat without having to power it back on? It's kind of annoying having to repower and reload the radio every time I get out momentarily while leaving my wife in the car. I mostly use the audio linked to my smart phone and it takes a while to reload everything every time. Thx

I was under the impression that if you re-attach the drivers seat belt after you get out, the lights, ac and radio will stay on or can be turned on.

Yes this is true but hard to do if your still sitting in the seat...just pull the hood release...yea I know then you got to close it...such a tough world we live in....LOL

There is a tiny power button near the screen, you can press that after you get out to turn it back on. We just figured this out at the drive-in trying to sit in the back with the hatch open to see the movie.

I found if you remove your weight from the drivers seat before opening the door, then the climate control and infotainment doesn't turn off. Another VW yoga variant I guess lol.

Yes, the power button works but it takes forever to re-syc they phone with the car...sometimes I make it back to the car before it re-syncs.

Just as post #7 says. Press the power button on the infotainment screen. It works and is virtually instant.

Thanks! I found that leaving the keys in the car also helps.
