What is the procedure for stopping a charging session before the desired % charging level is reached?
e.g. Charging is set for an 80% charge, but you need to do something right away and it is only at 70%.

You can unplug the car, or hit the Stop button on the screen prior. J1772 allows you to just pull the handle though, no issues there. (As long as the charging port is unlocked, if not just hit the unlock button on your fob)

If L1/L2 just unlock the car and unplug it. When you actuate the lever on the charging handle, it will stop the flow of electrons. Additionally, the signaling pins disconnect well before the power pins in the nozzle so there is no danger of arcing.

If DCFC, just click stop on the dispenser and wait for the nozzle to unlock.

I had an issue where a station completely shut down while charging. The only work-around to release the handle was to log in to car-net and decrease the charging amount to below the amount initially set.

If the STOP on the info center is not working, you can lock and then unlock the car and the plug should pull out.

You can also try to stop charging on the Car-Net app. That has worked for me.

That's weird. Mine will not disconnect while charging even if unlocked. I wonder if it's my EVSE. Has anyone been able to unplug while charging with a grizzl-e?

Trying hitting the unlock button on your key fob. My chargepoint home flex will not release if the car is unlocked or gets unlocked via the door handle, but the key fob works everytime.
