How to tell which battery my Pro RWD 2023 has?

Not all AWD are SK. I test drove a 2023 AWD a few weeks back and it was LG. I think some 23 AWD were made with whatever LG cells were left over. The only way to tell is on the Monroney sticker showing SK components or the MSRP. SK MSRP is about $1k more on the AWD Pro S.
Are you sure that was a 2023? I think you were misled or mistaken.

I confirmed both that it was a 2023 AWD PRO S and that it had the LG battery with the sales person. Sticker also showed 125kw max charge rate and the MSRP was about 1k less than the actual 2023 SK model PRO S AWD that I bought a week later with the exact same options.
Something does not seem right about this. AFAIK no AWDs were getting the LG. I will have to ask around and see if something changed.

Some dealers advertising "With LG Battery" as they probably don't want to mislead anyone that might find out about the LG after the fact. My SK MSRP for this same build was closer to 54k. See the one below. If you are still in disbelief, it's on the lot in DTLA. Go check it out.

Now I know something is wrong here. That vin is way too early to even have an LG battery no matter what. I would take extra care with this dealer if you are considering purchasing.

This was just another example of what I was talking about. The one I originally test drove a few weeks back at a different dealer was IN FACT a 2023 AWD Pro S that had the LG battery. The sticker showed charge rate was not 170kw and the MSRP was a little bit less (about 1k). I already bought one from another dealership that has an SK battery a week after I passed on the LG. Same exact build, just with different batteries.

Why would a dealer mislead and advertise the LG battery if it wasn't the LG battery? What would they stand to gain?
Possibly they don’t know any better.
But if you have proof of a Monroney label for an AWD 2023 and an LG battery, I would be interested in seeing it.

My understanding, which was imparted to me by the GM of the dealership I bought from, is that if it doesn't say SK, it ain't SK, therefore it's LG. But for most it doesn't matter, for me it did. I'd be skeptical as well if I haven't come across numerous listings that say LG and just happen to be missing SK from the monroney sticker. I'm just glad I got an SK and I'm charging at well over 150kw.
They are wrong. It must specify if it is LG but prior to the LG batteries there was not mention on the labels as there was only one version. So if there is no mention of LG on it then it by default is an SK.
