9/26, but was part of the lock-in crowd when they inadvertently opened that window on 3/5.
Lock-in as in Step 3 on 3/5? How was it inadvertent?
I have seen numbers in the mid-5 seconds to low-6 seconds. Need to wait for some test drives to get solid numbers.
The 3/5 lock in date for the AWD's was only open for a few days and not many folks were able to lock in. Two days after the 3/5 lock in email went out, an email went out saying the AWD had been delayed from Q3 to Q4.
Nice, that’s slightly ahead of the September - November timeframe that shows up in the portal. I emailed my specialist earlier in the week to see if he had any additional info but he didn’t have any. 😞

I think that the line is still intact. Graftondog just got some additional specific info. I think that if you locked in after the March email, you’re fine.
VW Canada says 0-96kmh (60mph) in 5.8 seconds… So I’m guessing that’s what we’ll see here in North America. In Europe the ID.4 GTX AWD is rated at 0-60 in 6.2 seconds.
It was intentional on my part but, as I recall, the lock-in window opened and closed within a day or two, followed by a "don't get your hopes up" email that the delivery dates for AWDs was officially Q4. A few hundred people had snuck through that window, some unhappy that VW had their additional $400 for a car they may not see for 9 months. VW never said what they did was in error (then they might have had to refund those deposits) but the circumstances certainly suggested it was unintentional.
It has not. Still shows Sep-Nov delivery and Order Locked.
Steve, I ordered the same day and same spec as you. I just looked at my portal and it still shows my original spec with Sept - Nov delivery date.
