I just heard from my dealer that my Moonstone Gray/black interior AWD PRO S has a production complete ETA of 7/11 and a delivery to dealer ETA of 08/05/2021 - 08/25/2021. Not to gloat, sharing so that we can all know our patience will ultimately be rewarded. It's been a tough wait ... and patience is not my thing.

Nice, I was part of that 3/5 window, although I didn't lock it down until ten days after that initial email.

9/26, but was part of the lock-in crowd when they inadvertently opened that window on 3/5.
Lock-in as in Step 3 on 3/5? How was it inadvertent?

I'll be very excited to drive the AWD. Does anyone know the 0-60mph or 0-100kph time on that puppy?
I have seen numbers in the mid-5 seconds to low-6 seconds. Need to wait for some test drives to get solid numbers.

The 3/5 lock in date for the AWD's was only open for a few days and not many folks were able to lock in. Two days after the 3/5 lock in email went out, an email went out saying the AWD had been delayed from Q3 to Q4.

Nice, that鈥檚 slightly ahead of the September - November timeframe that shows up in the portal. I emailed my specialist earlier in the week to see if he had any additional info but he didn鈥檛 have any. 馃槥

Same as me. I ordered 9/23.

I鈥檓 happy for you graftondog but FFS VW, I thought we were in a line. So, much for me signing up on day 1. Enjoying the continued punishments and wait. 馃槳

Has your portal updated? I ordered my AWD Pro S Gradient on 9/23. Now after looking at the portal I'm upset because somehow my AWD Pro S Gradient has turned into a regular Pro S despite my order being locked since March.....guess I'll be chatting with VW when their support opens.

I think that the line is still intact. Graftondog just got some additional specific info. I think that if you locked in after the March email, you鈥檙e fine.

Thanks for posting that. I was a chuckle to read.

"Going electric doesn't mean giving up what makes driving a VW so exhilarating. "

Sure, as long as you plunk down the extra 4,000 dollars it takes to make this car not a cow. Lol.

It was intentional on my part but, as I recall, the lock-in window opened and closed within a day or two, followed by a "don't get your hopes up" email that the delivery dates for AWDs was officially Q4. A few hundred people had snuck through that window, some unhappy that VW had their additional $400 for a car they may not see for 9 months. VW never said what they did was in error (then they might have had to refund those deposits) but the circumstances certainly suggested it was unintentional.

It has not. Still shows Sep-Nov delivery and Order Locked.

Steve, I ordered the same day and same spec as you. I just looked at my portal and it still shows my original spec with Sept - Nov delivery date.
