I have an AWD Blue Pro S on order with an estimated delivery of Nov1 to Dec 1. Just saw 2 AWD Pro S ID.4's posted for sale on an Augusta Maine dealer's web site, about 20 miles south of me. When I checked in with the dealership I found that the two cars were reserved, but not yet at the dealership. The two folks involved both want their cars. I assumed this would be the case, but thought I would give it a try.

Bottom line, these 2 AWD Pro S ID.4s will soon be delivered in the next day of so. In the mean time, I still wait at Status 10. :(

A few folks have received their AWD, I also received that email from VW this morning. My car was delivered on Bishu Hwy to Davisville, RI on 29-Sept. It has not yet been transported to the dealer. I received an email from my dealer yesterday saying the car was due at the dealer between 5-Oct and 9-Oct.

Has anyone else been notified that has a AWD on order?
Yes there are 16 AWD people who have been notified theirs is leaving the factory, 7 who arrived in US, and 4 whose have arrived at dealers. See this spreadsheet for tracking on every step for the 141 people who have entered their info.

You can add me to the list of people who received the email. Received confirmation from the dealer’s system that my car should be arriving at dealership today. Expecting to have me pick it up Monday. Mine was also on Bishu Highway when I came in to davisville.

I got a call from my dealer on Wednesday saying my ID.4 Pro S Statement arrived... The first AWD model they received.

It was on Siem Cicero, which docked in Baltimore/Sparrows Point the previous Friday.

After a couple minutes of test driving, the dash went nuts. They put the car on the lift and found a damaged wire, which they suspect was chewed by a mouse while L2 charging in their showroom overnight.

Service is replacing a harness, which luckily is already stateside. What's another week I guess. As long as it solves the problem, no skin off my back. Dealer was awesome otherwise... No weird shennanigans and very pro EV. They knew what they were doing when diagnosing and were also in touch with VW for assistance.

The little bit of test driving definitely left me excited for more. It has a pretty nice punch to it.

Thanks for the reminder - just updated with my delivery details. Loving my AWD!

I just received a email from VW that my car is in the U.S. Has anyone else been notified that has a AWD on order? Has anyone had their AWD delivered?
I'm in Massachusetts, is Baltimore the port my car would be delivered to? There seems to be a conflict with my delivery date, the reservation portal says September/October and the dealer system says November, yet it is at the port. Might I expect I will get it before November, since it is in the U.S.?

Davisville RI seems far more likely.

Nothing is 100% certain but I’m in NJ and mine arrived at Providence (Davisville) RI. Seems a lot closer to Boston, too… Check your status code - when it goes to 20-2, it’s on the ship, and you can check which ship leaves Emden at the same time. (Search the forums, lots of threads explaining how.)

We drove our AWD PRO S home last Tuesday, the 28th.

As the little girl in Poltergeist said "They're here........"

Typically Davisville, RI port for New England VW AG deliveries. But of course it's entirely up to VW logistics and they may have reduced ports of call, especially given pandemic reductions in workforce.

btw: just this morning's MA news that all brand total auto sales were down ~25% this past quarter. Much of that resultant of chip shortages, which of course is also pandemic related. 😣

My AWD ID.4 Pro S was unloaded at the Port of Baltimore 9/24 but still sitting there (aka status 30-2) and just got my FIRST phone call from the dealer and they said it could be another 7-10 days....but they didn't know it had been sitting in Baltimore for over a week already. Haven't gotten an email from VW to say that it is in the country but good to know that I should expect an email from VW.
