I put in a reservation for an ID.4 AWD Pro on February 9, 2021. I am still to this day in the "Step 1: Reservation Confirmed" stage of the process. I have seen reports here of other AWD reservations made after mine being locked and getting a delivery date. I'm trying to figure out if there's any pattern to which AWD orders are being fulfilled. I have contacted VW support and they are very evasive.

If have made a reservation for an AWD ID.4 could you please respond with:

• When did you reserve?
• What trim level? Pro, Pro S, Pro S Gradient
• Has your order been locked? If so, when?
• Do you have a delivery estimate? If so, what is it?

Take this FWIW, but my dealer said they are producing the fully loaded AWD Pro S models first and pushed lower trims back.

I reserved my AWD Pro S Gradient (white/grey) 2 months ago and it should be leaving the factory soon based on the site (still showing step 3 with a Sept-Oct delivery date). It originally said Dec-Jan if I recall correctly but quickly changed to Sept-October. Within a few days of placing my $100 down I got a request for the remaining $400 and the updated ETA.

I reserved 4Oct20 and Locked In 10Mar21. Pro S Gradient AWD in White w/Lunar Gray interior. Portal still says Sep/Oct. Flemington (NJ) dealer says maybe late Sept.

Ordered AWD Pro S Gradient in white with gray interior. Order on March 20th and locked June 21st. Order status 03 with project date of September to October 21. Suspecting to actually see it in November. Live in Minnesota so a long way from delivery port.
