I have had my ID.4 for literally 3 days and had to take it into the dealer for a warning that popped up on the screen. Said Issue with charging system, service required. They say it might be the cooling pump? Anyone else have this issue or know what kind of timeframe I am looking at to get it back?

I've had my ID.4 since March 2021, 7000+ miles currently. Based in the UK.

Mines produced a similar message a couple of times when I first had it ... after some service updates, these then vanished. The only time these message's have occurred is when using a couple of DC chargers on long trips. One produced an error that was "logged" the dealer saw it, another time it was clearly the Charger problem, a re-try to charge and then it worked. It never does it on my home charger.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind.

Hope you never need a fuse!!! First off they don't even tell you what the fuse is for....not listing in either fuse compartment the book shows a few but in the wrong place....I tried to buy a 40 amp fuse ...forget it dealer has NO fuses !!! I was told none in the world ...only at the factory....I also went to three parts stores.....The fuse blades are wider and longer so a regular fuse won't work. You spend thousands of dollars for a car and can't a $2.48 fuse.

guess the European ones differ from the US ones?
Sound like you need a bigger dealer that would stock them. Totally nonsense that only the VW factory has them as they are normal fuses here in Europe, can buy them at any gas station / car dealer/ shop.

regarding the fusebox description:
What works here is: “hello ID show me the help (manual)”
And then search in the in car manual for “fuses”
It should then show you the diagram what fuse does what. E.g.

How long did it take for them to replace the coolant pump? I just took in my ID.4 for the same issue (warning message regarding the electric system not functioning properly) and I was told by the dealer mechanic that they will replace the coolant pump for the battery pack.
I was also told by the dealer that they don't have loaner cars available, because as soon as they receive a new car they sell it. They have no new cars in stock. It's a crazy car market (both new and used). I hope the fix is quick, because I need a vehicle.
