Seems two items are missing from tool kit that came with my id.4 pro s awd. Can someone help identify missing items if any? See attached picture of tool box

it's not missing anything. They've just not given you all the possible tools. This is how it should be from the factory

Yes. Mine is the same. Just checked ;)
Thanks
Sorry…what’s the big one in the middle for…there’s no jack and no lever to turn that loop on me if there was…?
Tow hook. Which is kind of funny as the car is not allowed to be towed, can only be moved on a flatbed

There is a screwdriver and wheel alignment tool in the European kit. VWoA saved a $ cutting them out of the US kit.

Not true, I haven’t got those either. Have you actually got those?

In other cars I’ve owned the tow truck driver would use the hook to pull it onto the tow bed.

Yeah totally true, wasn’t thinking when I wrote that

You can use tow hook when you switch the car to neutral for many scenarios.....emergency charging while your buddy is pulling you, when hauling ID4 on the car trailer to make it more secure and etc.

I should have kept the tow hook from my previous car to make a license plate bracket.

I feel for you guys in states where front plates are required. My biggest fear buying my car sight unseen was that some person somewhere along the line would have drilled holes in the front bumper for a plate holder. When I bought my used Volt, the front plate bracket was riveted to the bumper by the factory and drilling out the rivets and filling the holes wasn't a simple process, but the car looked soooo much better when it was GONE!

That's cast steel and it would be hard work just to make a simple part ;)
But, I admire your ingenuity to turn a tow hook into a license plate bracket.

In the age of COVID, it’s the perfect excuse to go into the garage to use the blade saw, a tig welder, and round up some scrap metal to make something.

Maybe I should rent a car and “borrow” their tow hook.

Yep. I had the same two empty slots in the foam insert.

I purchased a wheel hanger from Amazon for about $8.

JP - Amazon lists three sizes...curious, which one is right as the replacement? 12x1.5, 14x1.5, or 14x1.25? Thx!
