ID.4 Infotainment Losing BLUE TOOTH Connection

I have wireless connection to my Infotainment working from my Android phone (OnePlus Nord N10 5G) (Android Version 11). I get in the car and within 15-30 seconds the handshake is complete and Android Auto is displayed on the infotainment screen. Sometimes it takes a little longer to sync up but I have learned to be patient.
This has been working for about 1 week.

Yesterday I got in the car to make a short trip. I was out of the car for about 3 minutes and then got back in the car. The "sync" did not happen and it appeared that BLUE TOOTH was missing on the car. I stopped and turned off everything and got out of the car and walked a few feet away (with my phone). Got back in and the systems could still not talk to each other.

I got back home and got out of the car as normal. I left the car alone for about 2 hours. When I got back in, everything synced normally. My Infotainment went to Android Auto and all was well.

Has anyone else had this type of experience?

I started getting "android auto connection is interrupted" today like every 3-8 minutes. It just kept reconnecting itself and it's rather annoying.
I haven't, but I'd suggest the holy grail press-and-hold the infotainment power button for 10 seconds to reboot the infotainment system.

I do have this problem in my other car and I've found a quick shortcut to disable / enable Bluetooth and that works; I wonder if there's a similar toggle in the ID.4?

in my prius C if you disconnect the bluetooth there is no way to get it back except to turn the car off and on. its super weird, but rarely loses connection unless i disengage it. I plan to do wired apple car play when i get my id4.
It seems most of the connection issues reported here are Car Play, and I've been really pleased with Android Auto reliability in this car. After the initial Bluetooth handshake with either system, it's all wifi, which should be pretty robust. I'm expecting some of these connection bugaboos will be worked out with forthcoming updates, but I also suspect some are specific to certain devices (I see OnePlus 5 mentioned) that will be persistent.
