Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the having the delivery date for the 2021 VW ID.4 Pro S move to 2022 means that the price will be reduced (older model year) or if it will be upgraded to a 2022 model? Did anyone else just have the Oct/Nov 2021 date move to Dec/Jan as well? it would be great to know when I can expect the car given that I sold my Prius to my teenage daughter already, ha! Going car-less until this one arrives:)

I doubt your looking at a 2021 price drop, but if it is a 2022 you can likely expect a price increase.

Mine pushed from October to November a few days ago. Holding my breathe...

Today I checked my order and it moved from Oct/Nov to Nov/Dec. AWD Pro S Gradient on order.
I've been thinking about this one too. Min is set to arrive in nov/dec. There probably wont be much difference in a 2022 MY, but I don't want to take a big hit on value either. I think most car companies change the lines to build next model year in sept/oct..Rumor mill says that VW isn't going to do that for the id4 until dec.
Stupid question, but where are you guys seeing an expected date?

Just checked my estimated pickup date - it's also changed from Oct/Nov to Nov/December. I was just peeking behind the scenes on Sunday and it was scheduled to be built this week

What was telling you it was scheduled to be built this week? Something in the graphql data?
I checked the status codes as per the directions on here on the site and found "Estimated Production Date: 4021". The European/ISO 40th week of the year is this week, Monday October 4 - Sunday, October 10. I was getting so excited Just checked the production date again and now it indicates "null". Oh well, back to dreaming and hoping! BTW this also is a AWD Pro S Gradient.

Mine changed as well.. From 9/21 - 10/21 to 11/21 - 12/21. I just hope I get it by the end of the year for tax purposes.

Yes it would be nice to be able to claim that back relatively quickly.

Should you miss the end of year and assuming you are a W2 employee then you can redo your W4 to be sure you underpay by about $7,500 in 2022 ;-)

I am just concerned with the current political climate programs change and I might miss out(income caps, purchase caps, etc). I'm glad I have a financial advisor that tells me all this stuff :)

Appreciate the reply JP. I enjoy following a lot of your post in these forums. You definitely are a expert around these parts!!!

I looked through everything, but cannot find the estimated production date. I wonder if it is not available yet (I am in 15-2 thought) or if I just cannot find it. I opened up all graphql sections and think that I read through the content of each.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it: Null. In Chrome, it is the 4th graphql under authenticatedGetReservation.

Thx for the kudos. I have been driving electric since 2011, the ID.4 is our third EV.
