As the title says,
I have noticed this 2-3 times so far not every time.
And it only happens when the door gets unlocked then the car loudly says "Emergency Call Service Cannot Be Activated"
Has anyone noticed that?
Does it mean SOS is inactivated?
From the cabin, I see the SOS light is turned on so not sure what it means.

The most likely explanation is you are in a location with no or very poor cell service. How many bars of 4G (or whatever) cellular strength is the display showing when this happens? If I’m up in the mountains where there’s no cellular service I get the same message. If there’s no or extremely poor cell service where you are, there’s no SOS or anything else that relies on cellular.

Edit: That would also mean no Car-Net.

No I don’t live in a rural area and I get excellent 4G service for all cellular networks so I’m not sure why it would loudly announce that emergency calling service not available

Same thing happened to me after parked at work all day. Car Net worked just fine and plenty of bars on the iphone. Just another computer spaz moment I suspect. By the way, this occured about 3 days after I had the ID4 Pro in for its complimentary follow up double check. Of course everything checked out just fine even after I showed them a photo of the warning light display that told me "Warnings and information not available. Drive with greater care!" The condition could not be recreated by the tech so they said everything is just fine. Never mind the photograph with the date, time and gps coordinates embedded. Its a computer with wheels. Windows 21. Ctrl +Alt +Del. But I'm sure the Boston Dynamics dog pees on the floor from time to time, so I guess we just have to put up with the tech we love so much...
