Has anyone else ran into this problem? After 4 days it asked me to service the car because the sos functionality was not working correctly.
The only way the SOS button will work (in an ID.4) is if you purchase the "Safe and Secure" package from Car-Net. Is this something you purchased at day one?

But what message did you get that said the car needed to be serviced? Do you have a photo?

I don't have a picture. I took it to the dealership this morning. But this was the error message that I received every time I turned my car on.
SOS Error: Emergency Call Function! Service Vehicle.

Ok, that is different than what I specifically experienced.

However, on my journey through the SOS debacle, the dealer indicated that there are known issues with some modules used in the SOS functionality that required a part being ordered from Germany. I cannot confirm if this was the truth or something they say to pacify the angry mobs, your mileage may vary.

Just know that unless you purchase Safe and Secure, the button still will not work after the error is resolved.

Dealers can throw in such extras; well done jjbermudez!

I unexpectedly got 4-years of Sirius/XM free on my last vehicle, as a good rapport with the salesman. I didn't even know he had done it until my Sirius just kept going, and going and ...

I unexpectedly got free Monster mats & Muddy Buddy-WeatherTech cargo cover with my ID.4 as presumably their first model sale and also good dealer rapport. I went to pay the parts department and they said "it's already covered." :)
Wow, nicely done... may I ask how you pulled that off? ;)
