I voted ID4 because it is available now and nationwide. Next year it will be manufactured in Chattanooga. Charging speed is competitive. What does charging at twice the speed do to the battery? The radio is a valid point for most but my ears probably couldn’t sort out the difference. Acceleration is plenty fast if you aren’t suffering from testosterone poisoning.

Ioniq 5 suffer from not very efficient motor.....efficiency table is all over the board at different rotor speeds. .....i didn't have chance to test motor inverter efficiency but from testing on the motor they have work to do ( probably future motor revisions). Creating very efficient motor at 800V architecture requires more experience and knowledge and also more expensive propulsion.
What leads me to suspect motor inverter efficiency at highway speeds.
I'm sure they will get there ....but it is not going to be now.

Voted ID4. It's the best value by far. The ev6 is by far the best looking ev on the market (opinion) and has ventilated front seats. The other features of ev6 aren't of much consequence to me. Can't bring myself to spend an extra 10k for looks and cool tushy... now if they announce a lesser spec ev6 that is similarly specd and priced version to my awd pro s on order I will reconsider.

Ventilated seats are not hard to accomplish on ID4 .....

"And Others"...

I would like to add (for consideration) the vehicle we settled on. We took delivery on Aug 31.

https://www.volvocars.com/us/v/cars/xc40-electric

No one is talking about this car. That is a shame. I will give details on real world performance in weeks to come.
We were able to lease this car under MSRP (total amount under MSRP = 10K apx including 7500.) incentive.

Lots of issues with the ID.4 forced us to look further.
Very happy with the Volvo (was NEVER a fan of the brand).

I like ioniq5 styling for a compact hatch. For a family SUV it looks like a caricature. But I have to admit technically it is a better car than iD4. The Kia styling and low headroom just doesn't do it for me. Between iD4 and ioniq 5 it comes down to price, but I like the styling of iD4 better. I also like the more futuristic interior of iD4 compared to Q4. It is more appropriate for an EV.

The xc40 is really cool too. I just couldn't bring myself to spend 10 - 15k more to get more power and have a better looking vehicle than the id4. The id4 isn't ugly, but it ain't sexy like the xc40. Lol. Someday I hope to have the $ to buy based on looks.

I voted ID4 primarily because it is available now with transparency into what you get at a given price point. The EV6 and Ioniq 5 are both contenders for me but since I can't have it fairly soon and don't know how much each trim level will cost, its a little harder for me to justify choosing them. The EV6 GT specifically seems like it would have everything I could want with acceleration, charging speed, technology etc but the GT trim is probably going to be way more expensive than the ID4.

I think price/offering the VW is a better deal than the Kia.

Also if you have the extra $15k wouldn't a top-tier Ford Mach-e be a better option than the Kia?
does the top-tier mach-3 have a heat pump and AR heads up display? Between the Kia and the Mach-E I felt like the Kia provided better value but that might just reflect the fact that I haven't cross compared those two with each other. Kia also offers faster charging if that matters to you and the ability to draw electricity from the car is kind of a neat feature though I wouldn't personally use it very much in my opinion.
