The progress on my ID4 AWD Pro S changed today to leaving factory. This is good news as I locked in my reservation on the first day. It looks like some ID4 AWDs will be making it to Oregon and the west coast soon. I was wondering since it seemed all of the recent posts from people getting their AWD ID4s were on the east coast. Maybe ID4s destined for the west coast will come via the Panama Canal and offloaded at Port Hueneme, CA (that is how our 2015 Volvo XC60 was transported).

In OR. Also got the notification yesterday. I'm told mine is heading to Port of Houston Ours vehicles will probably be loaded on the same ship.

I'm thinking either RCC PRESTIGE (which departed Emden Oct 1st; probably a long-shot but possible since the order portal seems to provide delayed data), or GOODWOOD which is supposed to arrive in Emden tomorrow.

I just received call from my VW dealer in Eugene, OR. My ID4 AWD ProS will be loaded on a ship in the next few days. Shipping will be through Houston, then by rail to Redmond, OR (a regional car offloading point), and then trucked to the dealer. The sales rep said delivery to me may be late December as shipping has been a huge challenge. It could happen sooner but I am not counting on it. Everything including cars are taking a lot longer to produce and ship.

GOODWOOD, SIEM ARISTOTTLE and RCC EUROPE are all moored in Emden as we speak. Only GOODWOOD is scheduled for Houston, so my money is on GOODWOOD!

Hi AWD Or Nothing: what app or website are you using to track marine vessels and find out destinations? I searched “Goodwood” and it shows it is moored in Emdem.

I'm using the PDF posted here to see which ship is going to Houston:

Damn you all! Mine switched today from Sept - Oct, to Nov - Dec. My CT money is good too! Booooooooo.

/jealously
Mine switched as well. Was looking at Oct delivery, now Nov. Note the order portal embedded code says Nov1-Dec1 and it rounds up to just Nov-Dec.

According to VesselFinder, Goodwood is heading to Antwerpen with an ETA of 14:00 on 7 October. I guess it will be loading more cars. I will do a deep dive in the reservation website using developer tools to see if the status has changed. At least we are one step closer to getting our AWD ID4s (in time for a winter trip to the Cascades).

The status code for my ID4 AWD ProS Gradient changed this evening to 20-2 (left port). Coincidentally, the ship Felicity Ace departed Emdem this evening (Pacific time). I will call my dealer tomorrow and ask if they know which ship it is on. Delivery is probably at least 1 month out. Progress at last.

Welp, I'm still at 20-1 and in Oregon... so I don't know what to think!

Based on the inconsistency of the status with deliveries I see on this forum, I think VW hires interns to update this stuff at random times and the state changes aren't a reflection of real-time changes.

My ID4 AWD Statement arrived in Houston today on the vessel Felicity Ace. I was able to find code 30-2 (offloaded but not cleared customs) on the reservation website html code. Also, the reservation page’s “wheel of pain“ shows it has arrived in the US. My guess is it will be early to mid December before it arrives at my dealer in Oregon. It has to clear customs, transported by rail from Houston to the PNW, and then trucked to the dealer.
