I just leased an ID4 1st edition.
Here's what I paid
$3600 down .
$600 monthly payment for 30k mile/36mon
including 3 maintenances (2 were already there) and lease end return protection.

I like this car a lot more than the model y in terms of driving and build quality.
Went to 3 other dealerships, this is best price I can get.

Just wanted to provide a data point here for you guys.
Good luck and enjoy! Love the car a lot so far.

Where are you located? Any credits you received besides the Fed Tax credit of 7500?
in CA (I'm in OC) we got $7,500 deduction from VW for lease, $1,500 from CA clean fuel rebate and later I can apply for CVRP for another $2,000 (there is income limit qualification).
@Baldoqui doesn't the dealer only deduct $1,500 directly from the MSRP - the $2,000 you have to apply with the decal form ( CAV and CVRP)?

Has anyone applied for their decals with their dealer plates?

I've got the form filled in and I don't want to waste it if I get rejected.
No, however having done this with an e-Golf the DMV requires the vehicle plates for the application to be processed. Without these your application will get knocked back. The decals are numbered and assigned to the plates and vehicle VIN. You are also required to carry the CAV certificate that comes with the stickers with the vehicle registration and insurance.

I'm in Santa Rosa, CA and was just informed that my ID.4 was ready (well, two days ago they let me know it arrived on the truck, but wouldn't be ready until today). I'm guessing this starts my 5-day window to make a decision and the guy at the dealership just sent me a quote today. I asked for the money factor, but he didn't include that in the lease quote. This sounds similar to other lease deals out there, but I'm starting to think twice after looking at lease deals for similar cars like the Kia Niro EV. I know I have almost zero leverage here other than making sure I get the MF for excellent credit. Any thoughts?
