Welcome to the club!

Here are critical members of the fleet:

Goodwood - Currently enroute from Emden to Port of Baltimore (without calls on Halifax or Davisville )
SIEM Confucius - LNG vessel, soon to depart Veracruz, likely to return to Emden after Jacksonville (based on typical patterns)
SIEM Cicero - Recently arrived at Veracruz

Port of Davisville berthing schedule

Polaris Highway was the vessel that brought my last BMW, embarking from Bremerhavn. Does VW only use it's own dedicated vessels?

There was an article somewhere on these forums? They have 11 and yes they use theirs. The article was about the person who manages the vessels throughout this pandemic.

The article is listed in the OP.

"the Volkswagen Group is the only car manufacturer to use its own charter ships – and has been doing so since the 1960s."

Yes VW does use their own fleet, which they pioneered in the 1960's.

btw: Two of my more recent Audi's were transported on the Goodwood, departing Emden and arriving Davisville, RI.

Hey Erick:

Add the vessel: Green Bay to your list.

It is presently in Charleston heading to Emden. Nov 18th arrival.

It has a Port of Call added to Davisville's Birthing Schedule:

1500 Green Bay
When: Friday, Dec 4, 2020
Description: VW/Audi (Ger) units

Also of interest is the Japan flagged carrier: Bishu Highway. It has a birthing date to Davisville of December 14th with "VW/Audi (Ger) units." It could be just a typo. Bishu Highway does not have anything listed on making a trans-Atlantic, as of this posting it is under way off the coast of Mexico & is likely travelling slowly behind "Eta" as it churns in the Gulf of Mexico.

Very interesting...Charleston might typically be for Spartanburg BMW's headed outbound for global deliveries. Wonder what, if anything, it's carrying to Emden.

Good to see a few more vessels with arrivals that present opportunities for deliveries before end of year!

In reading more about the ground breaking of the battery testing facility at Chattanooga, I was exploring the US Media Site for VW. After watching the video on the ground breaking on the battery testing facility, I noticed another video in the library on the Port of Baltimore: Tradepoint Atlantic vehicle terminal with some interesting drone shots of a vehicle carrier with none other than.... The Bishu Highway... With footage of Audi's rolling off.

Would anyone know if vehicles for NJ dealerships arrive via Davisville or Baltimore? I am guessing Baltimore.

Does anyone know about the status of the Goodwood? Did it dock and unload? Were there ID.4's unloaded?

It is arriving in Jacksonville tomorrow (Sunday). No word on what was offloaded in Baltimore.

It would be interesting to see what is offloaded in Jacksonville. It's the closest port to Chattanooga. I've had a thought that US ID.4 1st Editions could get shipped there for final prep and software installs.

Baltimore. Although northern NJ is about equidistant from both ports it's simply an easier over-the-road haul from Baltimore. That and Davisville is nowhere near as large a port/staging area, even if it is the Ocean State. ;)

Green Bay is due in Emden on Nov 18. How long do they usually stay there unloading/reloading before heading back out?

The Goodwood was in Emden for 39 hours on it's last turn. One could assume there was an offload of US-built BMW X's before embarking with VW and Audi units. Most recent offloads in Baltimore and Jacksonville were around 18-20 hours.
