My sales person has never offered any of that info to me and I didn't even know he could see it. I guess I'll have to give him a call today.
I called the sales person and he claimed he didn't have the information. I mentioned other people in the forum have indicated the information is available but he said no. He had no interest in talking. I may drive by the dealership this weekend and may try to make it worth their time to log in and find the information.

Back to the original topic, SIEM Confucius is now in Jacksonville. It has gone through Davisville and Baltimore. I assume Houston is next. I'm in the West Coast and I assume my car will come from Houston, but we will see.

Sales people may not have access to the information, you may need to talk to a manager.

I reached Step 5 (Arriving in the US) on May 8 when my vehicle was unloaded in San Diego. I live in the Phoenix area (350 miles away), but there has been no progress since that date (today is May 23). Question: How long has it taken for people for their car to advance from the port to the dealer? Is 3 weeks or so a common timeframe?
I know that part of the time is dependent on Customs inspection and the other is dependent on land transportation logistics.
My ID.4 arrived in Houston on April 18th. We took delivery in San Antonio 4/29. ID.4 arrived at dealer 4/27.

I live in the West (Phoenix area). My car unloaded the ship in San Diego over 2 weeks ago and still no sign of it arriving at my dealership.

Interesting. I just checked and I am at orderStatusCode 35-2. The last information I received is that my ID has been released to the transporter ( 3 or 4 weeks ago). No one can tell me the exact date.
Finally a change in the status code. My EV specialist stated that a truck shipment was scheduled for 20-May, then it would take a few days to de-transport the cars. The status code changed to 40 which must be related to them doing the vehicle receipt at the dealership.

They were receiving 5 ID4s on this shipment. Rail loaded in Houston on 06-May then delivered to dealer on 20-May, 14 days seems reasonable. Who knows where the car was offloaded from rail to truck, could've been St. Pail MN or Chicago, IL? OrderStatusCode remained at 35-1 during the rail/truck transport.

I finally received my car on Friday the 14th, about 37 days after it landed in Baltimore. Unfortunately I did not check the status code to see when it changed.

Wow. That is a long time for ground transportation. How far from Baltimore do you live?

Palm Beach County Florida. No way that it should have taken that long, but neither the EV specialist at the dealer or VW customer service could tell me where the care was and why it was taking so long.

I guess it is either a prolonged Customs process or inability to get a ground carrier. My dealer can't tell me anything either. I guess I just need to exercise patience.

It arrived in Baltimore on 4/7 and was released to transportation sometime before 4/14. That was the only info that I was given. VW CS couldn’t tell me the exact date it was released, but could tell me that it was.

Still hoping for my PRO...

SIEM CONFUCIUS came (Halifax, Davisville, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Veracruz) and went. So that's that.

Next in the hopeful list is GREEN BAY. That one was in San Diego for 13 hours and just left to go back via Lazaro Cardenas (all these places one learns from stalking ships). So, hopefully it delivered some of our ID.4s.

Has anybody in "US West" seen their wheel of misfortune recently move to Step 5?
