Important features missing from statement package because of supply chain Issues
There is a post on Canadian Orders thread.
Some very important features from Statement package is going to be missing for Canadian Models(at least), like 360 Camera and Folding mirrors until CW46 (may be its production week) and Premium sound is not available for any 2023 models.
What do you think will happen to US models?

Seems like many people who ordered Statement package are unhappy and are willing to cancel their orders. This is really bad.Looks like Premium audio, folding mirror and area view camera is affected by supply chain issue and some ID4 will be manufuctured with out these components. View attachment 15662

I will be very displeased if this applies in the US. The only reasons I ordered the Pro S Plus package is for the folding mirrors, upgraded sound system, and 360 camera. Without those, what is left? A cosmetic package I don't care about and a parking assist I don't care about.Maybe that’s why there haven’t been very many Pro S Plus locks in the US, yet?
And, my order is locked to add insult to injury.

Could be. To me, there is no point of going with Statement package without premium sound, 360 Camera and Foldable mirrors. Only useful things left are leatherette seats and power tailgate. You are correct, just a note that many AWD Pro S were produced since July and now are matched with orders so it might not reflect the current production line up. If anything, the 15-1 code should give an overall picture of what they are making.Compared to the Pro S? Yes they are, in Canada we just have 3 trims. Id4 (62kwh), Id4 pro (77kwh RWD)and id4 pro AWD (77kwh).It seems the trim levels are significantly different in the US.

1.5k for heat pump
1.25k for glass roof
5k for statement package
1k for 20" wheels
0.5k for blacked out roof and silver side trims

Did you see price go down by couple of hundred dollars? If yes it's not an oversight.I checked, the 360 camera and premium sound are not listed in the current version of the builder online anymore. Hopefully just an oversight, but worrisome nonetheless.
According to that picture it should be back in week 46, that is mid November.

This is now what you are greeted with when trying to build an ID4 on the VW site.

This items are not needed and big size wheels are killing efficiency.
Not to mention cost of replacing glass roof or when warranty is over and you have suddenly water leaking inside. Even if you buy VW extended warranty bumper to bumper it will not cover glass roof extensions past the stock factory warranty.
I personally don't understand people who love this on vehicles ( if love it so much buy cabriolet and be done with it) soon roof and entire glass roof are going to be very expensive items to live with once warranty is over.
1.5k is definitely worth the money investment for this technology and it will help a lot with battery management and heat recovery loops.
The VWoC fuckery letter is found in the Canadian Orders chat. It's a dick slap in the face.
