Hey VW family,

So I have a particularly odd question. When I drive longer distances with Google Auto or do not have the navigation on. The navigation announces that there is traffic on my route, however I have no route selected on the in dash nav. When I check the in-dash nav it shows a contact card icon and it is referencing my home address. However, it is not showing any route but it is showing when I would arrive to my house if I were to turn around at that point. It is not messing with the navigation on google but it just makes the annoying announcements that there is traffic on the opposite side of the highway or a road that I am not taking. Any thoughts?

Jimmy meant in the Infotainment settings menu pertaining to Navigation. iow, You have the option to disable traffic notifications in the settings.

However, I would like to keep them if I am using the navigation. I just don't want it to announce when I am not using it
