The hardware looks quite attractive, actually. I'm not sure why an HOA would not allow it. Looking further into the future, maybe we will see federal regulations that force the issue, similar to what happened with satellite dishes, and here in California with roof access and solar installs. Both decisions were wise and enabled homeowners to move into the future regardless of silly and restrictive local rules.I park outside (my wife & my toys get the garage), this would be nice to charge without having a cable. Not sure if my HOA would allow it, but it would be nice!
Full disclosure: I have been board president and vice president of my HOA for many years, and often acted as a BS deflector when folks pushed for stupid restrictions in our rules and regs.
