I've noticed that things like carplay and nav running in the main home screen tend to slow responsiveness, so it occurred to me today to disable the "hello ID" feature - unless they've got a dedicated processor optimized for that sort of thing (and they might, it's not a new idea) then there's a good bit of potential overhead there. So I disabled it and it seems more responsive. Scrolling, etc was less laggy than I'm accustomed to and I experienced no carplay dropouts.
No idea if this is placebo or not, so I'd love to see if anyone else has a similar experience.
