You asked about weather proof, not waterproof. :) The bottom line on the top section of the spec label: For Indoor and Outdoor Use
I don't see an IP rating. This thread has a picture in Post #1. There is a lot of interesting information about it in the rest of the thread.

That picture shows "box sealing class: type 6" and "for indoor and outdoor use".
Hence meaning that you can use it in the rain, as long as it is not continously (semi) submerged in a puddle or something (the wavy lines with the cross lower right).

Please someone let me know if the OEM charger is weather proof to be charging outside?

I asked the dealer that question and he responded yes. I used it as my main charging device for about 3 months and tucked it under the front of the car when charging to protect it from both sun and rain and had no problem.
