I've been mentioning these problems to the dealerships and all updates have been made while in warranty time period. They send me on then it eventually happens again. I heard VW is aware of this but now that I'm out of warranty, who pays the $2800.00?

How much of that 2800 is the part, and how much is labor?

If I am correct, the part is this:

but it is only a $113 part.

I am more inclined to think that the problem is a bad sensor and not the module itself. I guess it depends on what shows up when they scan the thing.
