Well my 2013 Leaf with 24kwh battery is starting to show it's age. It has always been a "town car" but these days I worry if I can go to the other end of town and back! I bought it used off of lease for a steal 5 years ago. Looking forward to a car that can do 200+ miles. Now the only thing to do is wait... and try to determine if the tread on the Leaf tires can make it until the VW arrives.

Welcome to the group and congrats! I hope you are patient because I think you may have a long wait. I am sure it will be worth the wait as the VW is a far nicer car in most measurable ways.

Just jumped in and locked in my Pro S AWD order today, too. The reservation web site says delivery in Dec 2021-Jan 2022. I'm located on the U.S. east coast.

Have deliveries been slower than what the reservation web site is reporting?

The car went on sale over a year ago and coming this Friday will be my 1 YEAR anniversary (Reserved 10/1/20) of an Awd Id.4 Pro S; locked 3/5/21; status 15-1 and still waiting for production.

This was before we knew about a chip shortage or other part shortages. I hope you have better luck than some of us.

Located in Wisconsin, I went to status 15-2 this morning. Looks like some production is happening!
