After a quick chat conversation with my salesman who sold me my 1st, I ordered another one via the VW website. I had asked him that is he came across another ID4 that they wouldn't mark up, let me know. He confirmed that "the only reason we didn't mark up your FE was because you already had an order in the system [albeit a Pro/s]." So, back to the website, no rush here. If it gets here by year end, I'll take the additional tax credit this year, if not, next year is fine.....

The waiting game begins again, but different this time......I won't be refreshing every day and looking at the posts about people tracking ships .... now, like then, it'll be here when it gets here.....

So what did you order?
Having the 1st, and a wife that won't drive "my car," I ordered her the Pro (for the value alone). Love the car, love the range, and love the comfort....I believe we (she) can get all that experience in the Pro. And of course it has to be white to replace her white CR-V. (Spin: Wife and I are Patchogue natives - when I retired from the NY State Police, I moved to Florida [the law, right?]).

We were neighbors when you were up here! We are snowbirds so maybe in FL too! Congrats on the purchase!!

Edit-Just checked your profile and you are on the west coast. We are down in Boca.

We have a 1st Edition which my wife absolutely loves, and I have the awd Pro S ordered (kings red) which is due in Sept-Oct. I drive a 2017 Tundra with 13k miles on it, and am honestly a little nervous about selling my Tundra and having (2) first model year EV’s and no more truck.... but I really love driving the ID4!
