Quite handsome!

Outside the Rivian R1S, Tesla Model X and Mercedes EQS I don't think there are any other true 3 row EV's (Model Y and MB EQB with their little toddler sized 3rd rows don't count IMO). Kia beat everyone else to the market for a "moderately" priced 3 row EV CUV, they will sell them faster than they can make them.

Not moderately priced, but don't forget the Volvo EX90. We will be putting a reservation on the EV9 ASAP, and then decide between the Volvo and the Kia when the time comes. My wife likes the styling of the Volvo more, I like the estimated price of the Kia more, but I am waiting to see range on both. The one with 300 miles with AWD wins for me. I have a very early Volvo reservation, so chance are could get either about the same time.

If VW had the ID.6 here, or even better an Atlas sized ID.8, that would probably be our choice.
I have always had a soft spot for Volvos and of course I side with your wife of Volvo over Kia, of course that’s price no object. 😂

VW is really missing the boat here and I really hope they are working on a ID.Atlasesque 3 row for the North America market. I know the Buzz technically applies but I think it’s more a retro/halo car that will be a 5-6 year flash in the pan like the New Beetle once the nostalgia wears off. Minivan market has largely been eaten up by the midsize CUV.

I'm onboard for our family's next car! I'm not so sure the Rivian R1S, Volvo EX90, & ID.Buzz are going to be drastically different in price, so this Kia is a nice surprise (for me).

However, I think the Buzz could prove to be the most functional family car, and I think minivans (or at least sliding doors) are due for a resurgence. I had my eye on the Kia Carnival, which, like the Buzz, is classified as an MPV, or multi-purpose vehicle.
IDK - the cheapest R1S is $78k looking at their site. If the top trim AWD Buzz hits $78k then VW has lost their damn minds again and will run into another Phaeton situation of people laughing at and not buying an $80k VW. I'm thinking top trim AWD Buzz will probably be in the $60-65k range if that, $5k premium over ID.4 feels about right.
