This is what I want to do. Being Canadian (but living in the US) I want to replace the rear red VW with a black maple leaf outlined in red.

I've been following for a while but am an ID.4 owner as of a few months ago! I've got a 2023 ID.4 AWD Pro in Aurora Red with heat pump and no statement package.

I just ordered the light bar and logo kit from AliExpress and want to install them on my Non-statement ID.4. I know how to install the parts and plug them in but am unsure where to connect the wires into the car.

Could someone help me out with photos or a video? I know I can ground the wire near the battery but where does the positive pin need to go? I couldn't find any clear pictures or videos online showing this last piece of the puzzle. Is it possible to connect the positive in the fuse box so I don't need to splice into anything?

Due to my sick perfectionism, I see that the left side of the trunk lid is adjusted a little too high.
Tighten the rubber bump stop knob a bit and it makes the car perfect.

Looks sharp! I got my front end done but am debating on the rear still.

Front end done with some guidance from @Pascal. I'd like to do the rear as well but the cost seems too high. The front end kit was only $250 shipped from Ali Express and is OEM parts. I haven't seen an inexpensive way to do the rear log without buying the whole taillight for $450 CAD plus tax.

Canadian $ is weaker than USD and sales taxes are higher.

This may have something to do with it or not, my GF reports that the lights no longer blink when locking the Car.

The Retail price for the item itself is $430 from a VW dealer here. Not sure why it is that much higher even with the difference in the strength of the USD in comparison. If I can find an assembly for closer to $250 I'll probably do mine too.

I thought so. I thought the non FE folks needed the whole light bar, but wasn't sure if the FE folks had an option to just add the lighted badge. Thanks for the info. I grabbed a lighted badge for the front off ebay already.

Does anyone have a good source for the rear trunk lid strip and LED badge that doesn't break the bank? The OEM in Canada is close to $500 with tax. Most of the AliExpress options seem to only have the rear badge on its own.
