Here is a pic.
It isn’t broken and notice the screw at the end.
I’m wondering if this one can be reinstalled or new one will need to be ordered. It doesn’t to be appeared damaged at all.
Maybe VW Technician can chime in.

And if your ID4 is one of affected that had this routed wrong way it should be covered under warranty...
@VW TECHNICIAN Do you know if there is a VIN range of production affected by the misrouted cable? I'm 08200.

Is there supposed to be a solid yellow ring or partial like I have? Can you take picture of place where this emergency cable connects
Thanks
I don't have real part seating in front of me to give you difference...but the first posted picture not this one definitely makes it not usable...i mean it could be reverse engineered if necessary but new part assembly should be used.

Gotcha.
Thanks!
Dealership just called and said that I’ll need to bring it in. So two more trips for one part😞

I'm not authorized to make public posts but this is definitely ID4 with this assembly issue. Only time it could be broken and there was no assembly issue if someone is doing it on purpose...and i don't see this member is doing it this way.
