Massage seats were operating when we got home last night. Parked in the garage went inside and came back out to the car after a minute. I noticed a whirring noise when getting something out of the back seat and realized it was the massage seat. I pressed the massage button and the whirring stopped.

Does it work the same way for you all?

Whit buttons locations it is possible to hit them while coming out of the car ....maybe this is culprit you experience.

Possibly. I had massaging turned on before parking the car, can't be sure if they simply stayed on or if I turned them back on as I exited.

Regardless the vehicle should turn the vehicle systems off when you close the door and walk away.

Anyone know if it’s possible to remove the seat and replace it with an Audi massage seat?
Possible……maybe with a lot of work.
Likely…… I doubt it. There are airbags in the seat that are coded you your specific vehicle. And I doubt if any dealer would change that coding for you. The safety testing was done with that seat and that airbag for that vehicle.
