Model Y is better car/value than ID.4, convince me I'm wrong

You're posting on a forum where most people are pretty passionate about their ID.4, so it's a bit like going into a McDonald's and asking them why they shouldn't go to Burger King. Aside from what everyone else has said, I'm just honestly confused about your MSRP numbers: there are lots of Pro S on lots today for sale for <$50k (at least in the Pacific Northwest area), and I can't find a single Model Y in inventory, and the cheapest ones I see available to order (ready in June) are $54,990, so basically $55k. So that big difference combined with the fact that I get another $2,500 off in Oregon (Department of Environmental Quality : Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program : Clean Vehicles : State of Oregon) thanks to the Pro S being under $50k, means that it was $7,500 less for me. I might get hate from others on the forum for saying this, but honestly if they were the same price and I could've gotten either one, I would have picked the Model Y, too. But $7,500 is a lot of money in my world, and the ID.4 is working out for me. I like the free charging at EA for 3 years, too.
No hate , the cost differential back in Sept 2020 was the deciding reason that I picked the ID4 over the Y(not as many choices back then). If it had been 4 or 5 thousand more my Scottish ancestry would have sounded a resounding nay you bloody twit(a first generation Scottish immigrant once called me a bloody twit). Of course there were over reasons gone over so often on this forum that they've been picked to rags.

One difference I read about recently - Teslas cost 74% more to insure than most cars because insurance companies are so quick to total them for minor electrical or battery problems. This is evidently not a problem with my ID.4 because I'm paying less than $500 per year for full coverage with a low deductible
Your insurance is cheaper than mine. Mine is bundled with my house insurance. Canceling the car insurance would increase the house insurance. Still it is about the same price as my Mazda 3 was and it is a much more expensive car to replace. Add to that Mississippi people on average drive like idiots and a large number of them are either uninsured or underinsured.
