My 2021 ID.4 with the 3.1 software update - charging speed

I haven't seen anyone really documenting the DCFC charging speed change from 2.1 to 3.1 software. Well today I got a chance to drive 210 miles starting at 76% SOC first thing this morning and ending with 69% some 11 hours later with several stops during the day. Shopping, lunch, visit with my VW Dealer, and then headed back home. I planned the day leaving home for the second time with 61% SOC and made the various stops mentioned above and made a charge stop in Montgomery, AL at Sam's Club before the 60 mile drive home. I used a 150 kW stall, #4. It appeared to have very new cables on it so work has been done pretty recent.

I plugged in at 12% SOC, battery temp was 88F and ambient temp was 84F. I have 39,000 miles on my ID.4 and a little over 155 DCFC sessions since new. The charge quickly ramped up to 145 kW and the EA confirming email said the max for the session was 148 kW. With the previous 2.1 software 126 kW was the best I ever saw in similar conditions to today.

Has anyone else noticed similar charging speeds? Obviously I am very pleased.

I charged from 12% to 88% since the charging was faster than I was used to and I couldn't get out of Sam's fast enough. Charging speed at 88% SOC with I stopped it was 48 kW. Also much faster than with software ver 2.1 under similar conditions.

Nice! Yeah, I've been waiting for DCFC charging speed reports also. I haven't needed to fast charge since I got my car back last week, but it will be nice to see a faster charging.

155 DCFC sessions? On a car with 39k? No home charger I take it? Probably not good for battery health.

How long did 11% - 88% session take? How many kWh was that?
I noticed the same thing . 155 kWh at 11%.

The bulk of the DCFC sessions were during a 5,100 mile vacation I took last year from central Alabama to southern California and north to Salt Lake City and then back through Colorado, New Mexico and then east on I40 back to Alabama. I do have home charging, but stop off for quick charge on the way home when I can. The nearest EA to me is 37 miles.

The session today took 38 minutes 18 seconds and was 58 kWh.

155'ish is the total number of DCFC sessions since new. The latest one charged at 148 kW and time from 12-88% is posted above.
I understand. What I noticed is that my charging speed has increased. The number 155 is my charging speed. It also happens that you have charged 155 times. Unrelated 155s.
