Does anyone recognize this part? Found it in the cupholder and no one who has ever been in the car either recognize it or have any idea where it came from.

Clues, anyone?
Happy to report the car still runs like a top:geek:. Love it!

Looks like it might be the front end cap to the seat track as @FinleyFinn suggests. The graphic on the parts site is only suggestive...

2021 Volkswagen ID.4 Cover. Track. End. Cap - 8W08813474PK - Genuine Volkswagen Part (vw.com)

But it's a shared part with other VWG brands:

Genuine Volkswagen Audi - 8W08813474PK - COVER (ecstuning.com)
This is the part. Exactly. Thank you very much!
How it got to my cup holder is another question but at least its not part of the nuclear reactor core management system which is a relief

The hunt for an explanation is still afoot. Shall keep this group updated!

Probably tall dude/dudet was moving your EV from one location to another and found that removing drivers seat gives him/she more space to operate from rear seats. So i guess my story has better credibility lol.
Look under your seats it will be easy to figure missing parts.

It looks like it's just a press-fit piece that goes over the end of the seat rail. It's a compound curve, so probably doesn't always get mounted straight, and pretty easy to knock or shake loose if it's not mounted securely. I don't have my ID.4 yet, but also possible someone knocked it loose getting in or out if it wasn't secured completely as well.
