Doesn't help me. Still waiting on myVW software trouble ticket resolution for "too many incorrect password attempts", and this despite iPhone facial recognition and thereby no fat finger errors. This occurred when they transitioned from Car-Net to myVW and I did delete and install afresh the new App. 🤷‍♂️ But I digress ....

Clearing a cache of old messages is always a prudent measure. Exception being something like my ChargePoint App where I want to maintain the charge history log.

 

Another "feature" of an asinine app.

 

Deleting the old messages is easier said than done. In the old app, Select All and Delete would do it. Now that only seems to delete 15 messages at a time. I have about 600.

Still, overall, very happy with the car.

From there in the message center tab, there's a Delete All choice at the bottom. FYI, deleting hundreds of messages didn't change how the MyVW app (mis)behaves for me, at all.
