I've had the same problem since the upgrade on my Android phone. Tried all the solutions offered by others (uninstall, re-install, turn phone off and on) Nothing seems to work. Suspect it's a problem on the VW side. I'm unable to get past this screen:

How can it happen that someone creates yet another myVW thread and also doesn't locate it in the myVW section (fka Car-Net section; this thread now moved)?

Android here and it hasn't worked since the upgrade. First thing this morning it shows the SOC from last night when I plugged it in. My EVSE app shows it is charged as normal. I tried to turn on the cabin heat and that failed also.

 

I guess I have no idea what I'm missing - Except for lots of frustrations. I've never installed the myVW app on my phone and I'm enjoying my car immensely. I've read here since day one about all the great things the app was supposed to do, that it does if you own any other VW but an ID.4 and I just figured, what's the use? Why put up with even more VW software limitations and get nothing but a new set of frustrations for my trouble??

Someday . . . . VW will hire someone who can write software that works . . . . hopefully - Maybe he/she hasn't been born yet? Until then, I'll just stand by and read about their failures

 

Unable to log into the app today. I am able to log into the VW portal. Though there's a problem in there as well. I re-installed the VW app on my Google Pixel 5 and restarted the phone. It is still stuck in a loop that takes the user name (email address) and password and returns to the login screen. There are no errors presented.

 

It sounds like it might be an Android-specific app issue, if that helps. I’m able to log in on an iPhone without issue.

 

Contacted VW yesterday... they confirmed that myvw app for ID.4 is very limited with what you can do.... even for a very basic feature like remote lock/unlock, pre-condition features... Not sure about other models, but the app isn't working on my 2023 ID.4. Very disappointed with this.... myChevrolet app works flawlessly on my 2017 Chevy Volt!!!
