Hi everyone, I've been an active member of the Vortex for 15+ years, so this is not my first VW.

The recent comments from VW confirming the ID Buzz is actually happening have energized me. I am so pumped by the idea of a long-range EV exploration van from VW that still does 0-60 in under 6 seconds (reportedly).

I can't wait.

The last time I bought a new VW was when I leased a Jetta in 2016. It was two year lease, a great car, perfect for my needs at the time. The rare bronze metallic paint option VW offered for a while was a real highlight for me. I'd love my ID Buzz to be painted the same color if VW allows. I'd pay extra for it!

Hi @Wimbledon! Glad to see such a big VW aficionado on here! How many different VW's have you owned?

1 VW, and 2 Audis (basically VWs), and I've always been active with my local VW/Audi group. Hoping the ID Buzz will be my 4th VW Group product and 2nd VW-badged one.

The Buzz is going to be a huuuge seller for them. It was really smart for them to bring it back as an EV.
Another AZ MK7 R owner checking in. Reserved a ID.4 1st edition. Can’t wait!

Welcome @mryflyguy! Congrats on getting a 1st edition before everything crashed haha.
Thanks. I’ll be swapping my 17 Golf R so I could come out pretty good, financially speaking. Since the R is out of production till 22, supply is low and used prices are rebounding.

You should be able to get a nice return back on your Golf R. Is the ID.4 going to be your primary car or do you have others?
I have a 2020 Forester Touring for long trips & 2nd car when needed. Should be a good combination.

We are also from Arizona and are waiting for our ID.4 FE To be delivered. Hopefully sometime this week. It’s on a truck making it’s way from Port Houston. This will be our primary in town and hopefully travel car. We do have another vehicle if this doesn’t work out for long distance travel. We are use to stoping every 140 miles, we use to tour the country on a Harley, so stoping every 140 or so miles for 20 to 30 minutes is not a big deal. This will be our 6th VW. 2 Jetta’s 2 Passats and a Tiguan

You're going to fall asleep in the FE.

Between dieselgate and big trucks in the desert smacking our little VW's, we've had six VWs in as many years and they're seriously comfortable seats. First car was a '57 Ghia and by the time I sold it there were no operable brakes but it had holes in the floorboards so my buddies and I could Flintstone it to a stop :O

Congrats @KB57! When are you expected to get your ID.4?

It came in earlier than expected. We picked it up last Sat. It is our first EV. So far so good. It’s a great car. It’s going about 230 to 250 on an 80 percent charge. It show 320 on a 100 percent charge. So far most of the driving has been hiway at 75 to 80mph on 40 to 50 mile one way commutes.
