Effective today, the EV rebate program for the state has reopened with new rules. The 5k rebate for the ID4 is now limited to vehicles with an MSRP of up to $45,000, not including the destination charge or dealer options. The rebate drops to 2k for MSRPs between $45k and $55k. Fortunately, the sales tax exemption is still in effect. Like last year, the offer is available "until program funds run out."

And it's now run out... they really keep underestimating demand! (Mine arrived a week late to take advantage. But I'm consoling myself by reminding that the sales tax exemption is worth more than the $2k on the Pro S AWD!)
