Has anybody used Apple Car Play? Is this a one time issue?

No CarPlay?
loving my id4....... but it won’t connect to Apple CarPlay 😩 Any ideas. Just says unable to connect.

It happens on occasion (both in my ID4 and previously in my GTI via wired CarPlay).
I haven't determined the cause or remedy, yet. I usually resolve it by turning my phone completely off, the car off, or sometimes removing the vehicle from the phone's bluetooth settings and re-pairing.

You can connect to CarPlay quite easily through a USB cable.loving my id4....... but it won’t connect to Apple CarPlay 😩 Any ideas. Just says unable to connect.
You can also connect via Bluetooth and WiFi. I ran in to trouble because I was connected by Bluetooth, but not to the car's WiFi network.

I resolved my connection issues by holding down the infotainment power button until the headunit rebooted and that fixed it.

When in doubt, reboot something!

I use both wireless carplay and wireless android auto. I let the car pick which ever it feels like connecting to.
