Hmm, this seems not to work for me. An EU ID4 -21, with latest 3.2 software. Coding went correctly and seems to stay, but not once has this worked in the last three days. Also, dont have that "Response distance" option available or the warning tone option.

I have as a previous mod done the remove user ok click at start. Could that be the reason? Is this working for others who have removed the ok-clicking? And yes, I have the easy open and other bells and whistles related to locking.

I have the exact same car, same software and same problem, I also dont get the response distance menu and auto lock/unlock doesn’t work at all. I haven’t removed user pop up screen so I don’t think it’s that. From what I can see, those that got it to work already had some settings enabled by default that I didn’t such as the first two options under DevCod_Nutzerkonfigurationen which were disabled by default on mine. I am trying to work out what else others already had that we don’t. Can someone that got it to work please share more of your settings so we can compare.

I would also agree and think that there must be some preconfigured differences somewhere. My car is for Finland and I have not seen anyone in the finnish forums talking about this working. So guessing there is some other settings besides these here that needs to be changed.

Hey, those that have successfully coded the auto locking when leaving the car, do you all have that honking when the car is also normally locked?

I started to wonder if the computer somehow can't activate the easy lock for me since the car does not honk when it is locked, and thus there is warning tone available for the computer. For atleast my finnish version there is no possibility in theinfortainment to activate honk when locking the car. Only signals for its locking are the folded mirrors and flashing lights.

I still believe this is hardware related. My car is not equipped with keyless entry at all, and so the lock on walk away mod does not work for me either.
I guess those cars get a different module/antennas, but I'd like to be proven wrong of course.

I think it is natural that Keyless access and easy open are needed for this mod. I have those both, but I am still missing the sensitivity settings options. So, I think there must be some extra setting that needs to be turned on for my cars configuration.

For those still interested, thanks to @Erhard for sharing his backup for comparison, here are all the differences in Control unit: 19 Gateway between a 2021 ID4 that wont auto unlock and one that will, these are the settings from the one that will auto unlock.

I don't know yet which settings are related to the issue and haven't tried changing them yet but will keep you updated.

Please clarify, you write that these are for the "auto UNLOCK". Do you mean that or the auto LOCK when walking away? And are these settings from car that has it working or not?
There are also settings related to kessu in central electronics, i think that is module 09, if I remember correctly, I am not near my car currently. Maybe someone who has the walk away auto lock working could share those as well?

Yes, but those are all related to the basic instructions and they didn't work for me. All adaptations applied, but still no dice. There must still be some other setting that needs to be changed, so thats why I want to compare the modules with someone who has this working.

Distance option is activated but its not working for me also , seems something is missing some where

I think that Lamplite1c mean that the distances option is not getting activated for him at all. I have the same problem. Can do all the coding and resetting succesfully, but the distance option is not activated, nor was it active before.

I am unable to get auto lock to work on 2021 id4 pro s. I’ve gotten all other adaptations to work. Car just beeps at me all the time. Anyone made progress on getting this to work when said instructions aren’t working?

Same situation here. Something extra coding is still needed.

Are you able to activate the distance selection to the ui? I am able to activate the switch about autolocking when leaving, but the distance selection stays out. Thinking it has something to do with that 🤔

I used the one click app and it works. I just wish it would make a sound so I don't have to look for the lights to flash.

The one click app just follows the manual process, so it doesn't make a difference. For some cars extra setting needs to be changed, some module booted or long coding changed. Shouldn't be hardware issue, since my car for example has everything ticketed except park assistant but there are other cars without it that still gets autolock working.
