Wondering with the new SFD unlock with OBD11 can we turn down the honk sound when the doors are locked with the key fob?

This might be an odd request - but is there an OBD11 coding that can have the car default to B mode rather than D?

anyway way to code with ODB11 so the usb ports turn off with the car? Seems like by default they stay on?

Most things in the car that stay on seem to shut off after 30 minutes… do you have any way to test this? (Like something with a visible LED light you can see from outside the car without opening the doors?)

hey thanks for the tip. Yeah I confirmed it using a carsifi android auto dongle. After about 30 mins after doors locked I lose bluetooth connection to the dongle

Try rebooting the infotainment after coding with obdeleven - like hold down the power button on the left until the screen blacks out.

Keyfob window rollup and Windows up on vehicle lock are not working anymore although they are active in the adaptation menu, anyone faced similar situation or know how to deal with it?

For me, to get the key fob roll up to work, I had to reboot the infotainment system after applying the change in ODB Eleven

I think my frustration is "none of them work" at least none that i've tried.

For example, Key Fob window roll up, I found the exact mentioned settings, which my vehicle ALREADY had configured the way the post describes them and my key fobs do not roll the windows up. I believe I made a similar mod on my 2014 S5 way back and it "worked fine" using a different device to change the settings. I also configured my MMI (nav system) to play MP4 videos... So as simple as the modding is, and has worked in the past, nothing I've attempted with this ID4 works or seems to line up with what i'm seeing here.

Trying to figure out if I'm simply missing something or what?

the window control and homelink mirror control mods work the same way for me as you described. 2021 Pro RWD. So works when the car is on but not "started". Which I think was not the case prior to the mods? like the window controls would only work if I hit the brake or pushed the start/stop button

Keeping the HomeLink buttons alive is a big deal for me but they still don't work with ignition OFF after making the change you describe. Could there be another setting that also has to be active for this to work? Can you check the history of your Module 19 - Gateway to see what other changes you've made from default? It may just be that I have an older 2021 and it's just different.

The only other setting that I haven't seen Adaption steps for here is the "Central Lock with IGN". That is an app that OBDEleven offers but I'd love to know the actual adaption steps for it. Has anyone been able to get that working without the app?



I enabled this and it seems to only allow window control after the ignition goes off but you are still seated. This does not allow window control when you first get in and activate the butt sensor.
