I’m planning a trip that would ideally include the Oregon coast, I’m not seeing any fast chargers between Newport and Crescent City, which is 200+ miles. Any thoughts, am I missing something? I’m not even seeing planned chargers.

There aren't any Electrify America chargers on the southern Oregon coast at the moment but if you go to something like PlugShare you'll see there are a number of Level 2 chargers in that stretch that are publicly accessible with a fee. You might be able to make it without a pitstop but even if you did need to stop, you'd only need to charge for an hour or two over lunch to make it comfortably from Crescent City to Newport or the other way around.

I just today discovered a spankin' new Electrify America station in the Newport Walmart. It's the first (and only) EA station on the coast. There is another EA station in Crescent City, but the distance between the two is 231 miles, which is further than I would want to go on a single charge. But there is a network along 101 (the "Electric highway") that has nicely spaced Aerovironment chargers. Unfortunately, there are no CCS connections -- all are level 2 or Chademo.

So full charge at Newport, stop for lunch somewhere south of there and L2 charge for a couple of hours, and hopefully get to Crescent City. It is mostly small towns on the south coast, hopefully the state will fund at least one fast charger along that stretch

You are in luck. They are going to add one in the middle between those stations. And also one between Portland and Bend as well.

Unfortunately, it'll be a while. Those locations are in the Cycle 3 plan and the very first Cycle 3 locations are due to come online in Q3 2022. The last Cycle 3 sites won't be available until Q2 2024, so it could be a long wait.

Sorry I missed you. I would have waved as you passed through Yachats.
Nice town! We were pronouncing the name with a Hebrew ch sound, but I guess you just ignore the "c"?
