We went to Costco and unexpectedly picked up a large Traeger grill. We were able to fit it in the back along with the rest of our shopping. The hidden compartment was a great place for the eggs but don't forget to take them out.
It wasn't too bad. They loaded it and we just scooted it out of the car and assembled it in our garage. The last time we bought a grill, I had them deliver it - the damned things are too heavy (even if you can get them in the car). They put it directly on a furniture dolly, and I rolled it straight into the garage.
That is awesome. I think my only gripe is the molded cargo cover. I liked the one in our Subaru Forester better. It was very easy to stow if I had to take it off.The ID4 is MUCH more comfortable though.I have left the Reddit ID4 forums because everyone wants to fight me about how much stuff you can fit into this car. My top haul: 2 adults, kid in child seat, 55 lb dog, 4 man tent, yeti hopper soft sided cooler, 3 sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, spare boots, 2 30L backpacks, portable L2 charger, DeWalt tire inflator, various plugs adaptors, and had a tiny bit of room to spare.
My wife is a superhuman at packing a car. She will also destroy you in Tetris. I should let her max pack this thing and post the results.
I see what you did there.Holy smoke!
It wouldn't have worked if our daughter was with us, luckily she was at school. With the car seat? Impressive!
We do what we have to. Is the bottom under the subfloor pretty flat? I'm just curious for future endeavors.I was shocked and surprised to find a 27" in-wall oven (in the box, which is substantial) DIDN'T fit... until I removed the sub floor and to my wife's horror and annoyance all of the knick knacks she squirrels away under there.
Yep, flat!We do what we have to. Is the bottom under the subfloor pretty flat? I'm just curious for future endeavors.
