Silver is the perfect color for Winter salt in MA imho as it tends to hide same when it dries. Hides most other dust/pollen pretty well too. Also cooler in Summer. I had a silver selected until I got the FE 2nd chance.

Yes, I like silver for the same reasons. Seems like I am in the minority though, I have not seen too many silver ID4's.

My last three cars were silver, but this one it a little too flat for me. I'll just wash my black car obsessively. A good use of that nervous energy that I used to spend on tracking ships.

As you know you really have to see a color in person and in differing lighting conditions as a very subjective literally eye of the beholder decision. I loved my A5 Ice Silver and thought their Florett silver follow-on would be nice too, but the first time I saw it in person ... No thank you! Someone must like Florett better tho' (bean counters?) as it's now been offered by Audi for ten years or so. 🤷‍♂️
This VW silver may be similarly flat so yes I would have to it.
