well, I know it's not an airport so we don't have to announce our departures- but I feel a certain camaraderie with all of the stuck Pluses. Bittersweet but I got a Mach-e GT last night off the lot in the exact spec I wanted and am quite happy. Hopefully my canceled order will help the rest of you still waiting

Thanks! I still plan to hang around once in awhile here since I love cars and keeping tabs on the EV space, best of luck to you all and wishing you speedy deliveries.
For a (mostly) educated guess: randomly. Some folks sit at 15-1 for months, and then one morning their dealer calls to say your car is on the lot and to come pick it up. And . . . the portal still says 15-1.
I got the three emails too, and the Wheel updated my due date from Dec-Jan (thus eliminating the fascinating prospect of time travel from the equation) to February-March.
To be sure, I just checked the portal between paragraphs, and I'm still stuck on 15-1.
And so it goes.

From Jan 26 through Feb 3 I counted 27 newly updated order status codes of 10-2 or higher for AWD Pro S Plus. Five of them were even blue. I began to get optimistic that I might eventually get my car. Then from Feb 4 to 8, there was only one update. What happened?

So I gather no one has actually received a Pro S Plus at this point.
We bought a Pro S in late December from a local dealer who had an extra car and canceled our Pro S Plus order because I wasn't going to risk the wait. Sad that it seems my concerns were justified.

I jumped ship too. I picked up an unallocated Mach E Premium last week. A thousand dollars less than the AWD Pro S Plus I had on order, all the features minus the heated back seats and parking assist. The uncertainty around the tax credit changing in March and the complete lack of trust that the car I reserved May 2022 would actually arrive by May-June 2023. I haven't cancelled my order out of sheer curiosity of when it'll actually show up plus a promise to my salesman I've bugged a bunch that I'd let it get to him even if I decided I didn't want it. I can let the $500 deposit ride for a few more months.

The RWD Pro S Plus models seem to be trickling out to the dealers now and on another post someone posted a photo of a RWD out in the wild. There was one AWD Pro S Plus at my dealership, but it is sold; it's still on website though so you can see they are slowly rolling out. They are somewhat hard to find in a search because they show up as a Pro S on dealer sites. I agree, plenty of people saying they expected Pro S Plus in December and January -- still showing inbound to the dealers, but none landing...
I drove to my dealer last week to talk to the sales manager, since my AWD Pro S Plus reservation was pushed out to May/June. His portal showed no change from last month and he said there is still no VIN number, so I don’t think it will be here anytime soon. He mentioned that when he is notified by VW that one of their vehicles is completed, it’s taking on average 2 to 3 months to arrive at the dealership, and the dealership is less than a 12 hour drive from Chattanooga. I told him that I think it’s time to downgrade to the AWD Pro S. He had a gray one in stock that was available, but I told him that I would really like to stick with the Aurora Red/Galaxy if possible. I went home and sent text messages to two VW dealers not far from me in New Jersey. A short time later, I received a text from a dealer in Princeton, New Jersey. He mentioned he had one in transit with an ETA of 19-21 February, and it was still available. He also mentioned that every Aurora Red/Galaxy they have received so far has sold before it arrived at the dealership. I went right over, we crunched the numbers and I put down a deposit. Got a call from the dealer yesterday informing me that the ID.4 came in early, so I went there today and picked it up. I’m glad I was able to close the deal on one this month. I don’t think I would be willing to wait for the Plus and miss out on the $7500.00 tax credit.

Got the call mine arrived - I haven't canceled yet but very likely will do so tomorrow. The link below is to the one I ordered which will likely be for sale shortly. They have added a 2k markup to some in their inventory so I would assume they will do that as well once I release the order.
Still holding on to my ICE for a bit, too hard for me to justify the $63k after-tax price of the Pro S Plus at this point. I've now skipped out on the chance for a Model 3, Solterra, and now an ID4. Maybe I wait and see on the ID Buzz, EV9 or Fisker Ocean or keep my eye on the used market or 2022 options for an ID4.

how do you get that number? The 7500 rebate is still in place, no?
That's the price I would pay today. Not including the rebate as I wouldn't see that money for at least 12 months.
