Does anyone have any insight/guesses/inside information about the status of the Pro S Plus AWDs? My estimated delivery changed from Oct-Nov 2022 to Q1 2023.
I remember reading about the memo to a Canadian dealer about part shortage and delay of production until November, does that apply to US models too? Have any actual Pro S Plus AWD trims even been produced? It's likely the highest margin (in terms of profit) so I would think VW would be prioritizing their production...

Vin number assigned today! Getting closer
I note some new entries today after filtering on awd plus. And my estimated delivery that had gone from dec-feb last month today changed to mar-may. I ordered last June and locked in oct.
Received call from VW customer service yesterday to give me an update on my res for ID4 Pro Plus ( Red). They confirmed that it is going into production with expected May - June delivery; ordered June of 2022. Provided reason for delay due to shortage of red paint. I didn't take it out on the rep -- they have a tough job representing incompetent management. I've had enough of VW and jumping ship to a Tesla MYLR. The $13K price decrease made it an easy decision to move on and order with expectation to get it first week of March. VW management should be cleared out for such a botched rollout of the line. You snooze ...you lose.
My ID4 Pro Plus AWD Arctic Blue just updated today to a Estimated Delivery window of MAR 2023 - MAY 2023. Light at the end of the tunnel.

Just canceled my reservation so if someone is looking in the CO area I'd give this dealership a call before they mark it up too much.Got the call mine arrived - I haven't canceled yet but very likely will do so tomorrow. The link below is to the one I ordered which will likely be for sale shortly. They have added a 2k markup to some in their inventory so I would assume they will do that as well once I release the order.
Still holding on to my ICE for a bit, too hard for me to justify the $63k after-tax price of the Pro S Plus at this point. I've now skipped out on the chance for a Model 3, Solterra, and now an ID4. Maybe I wait and see on the ID Buzz, EV9 or Fisker Ocean or keep my eye on the used market or 2022 options for an ID4.
My AWD Pro S Plus finally went to code 10-2, Factory Approved and the delivery date moved up a month to March to May.

I just checked, I'm still at 10. Although I'm just lurking out of pure curiosity of when it'll finally show up. I've been driving my "I'm tired of waiting" Mustang Mach E for a couple weeks. My date was May-June, then it moved to March-May but I haven't moved from 10 since October.
